At Tamara Yoga, our children’s yoga course helps your child discover ways to improve their ability to relax and concentrate. Tamara Yoga for children is a fun, playful, creative and invigorating way to help your child develop balance, posture, coordination and concentration. Your child will learn easy techniques to help them be calm and mindful.
Did you know there’s a growing body of research proving that regularly practicing yoga positively impacts children, helping to improve behavioural patterns, academic performance and self-regulation? There’s evidence Yoga practice helps children’s concentration, co-ordination and wellbeing.
A recent study of children from age 9 to 13 divided into two groups, one that received yoga classes while the other group didn’t. After just 10 days, the group receiving yoga classes showed a 17% increase in steadiness, while the control group didn’t. Proving that yoga could help improve a child’s ability to independently control their body and mind.
