Bliss Out In Bali is held at the Ananda Cottages in Ubud, renowned as the cultural and traditional heart of Bali, in the beautiful mountains surrounded by untouched jungle. Ananda Cottages are a unique, traditional style of accommodation owned and run by a local family. The cottages are in the middle of lush rice paddies; green fields surround our studio. Research indicates spending time in nature leads to faster recovery from stress, decreases mental fatigue, restores mental clarity, increases sense of wellbeing, improves physical health and healing, and even improves performance.

We’re looking forward to yoga in the gorgeously, warm climate of Bali, delicious tropical fruit, deluxe massages and great times and hope you will be there to share it with us. The retreat will be lots of fun with yoga morning and afternoon and a meditation class each morning. You will have free time each day to rest and explore Ubud. There are great restaurants and shopping close by as well as a range of massage and Ayurvedic treatments available at very reasonable rates.
The retreat begins with an introductory session on Monday July 21 at 5:30pm and concludes after the 10am brunch on Sunday July 27. Check-in time is 1:00pm. Check-out time is at noon.
Previous students have found the deep immersion in yoga on retreat profoundly enriching. We keep our retreat numbers small so you receive individualized instruction but limited places mean you need to book early.

Tamara’s passion for yoga was kindled at the age of fourteen and she has been meditating since 1986. Tamara has studied with many internationally renowned yoga teachers. For several years Tamara studied, and taught yoga in New York. While living in the U.S., she studied with Yogiraj Alan Finger of ISHTA Yoga. Since moving back to Australia and establishing the thriving Tamara Yoga studios in Perth and the highly regarded Yoga Teacher Trainings in Perth, Bali and Margaret River, Tamara has travelled to New York to undertake further one to one studies with Yogiraj Alan Finger. Alan initiated Tamara to transmit Shaktipat – the transference of spiritual energy to assist meditation and the experience of highest consciousness. Tamara is a Registered Yoga Teacher at the highest level. She’s an E-RYT 500 with the international association Yoga Alliance and a Senior Teacher with Australia’s association of Yoga Teachers – Yoga Australia.
